letting go

i have to let go
for the memories are not enough for me to stay
i have to set you free
for your heart and soul is no longer mine anymore

pretending is all that i have
to show people that i’m strong enough for this challenge
crying is all that i’ve got
to ease the pains that i have inside my heart

giving you up is not easy
for i have to give up all that i have in life
but it’s the only way that i need
to find myself again and show the world that i could stand again

i know that my love is not enough
to have you back in my life and win you again
that’s why i wrote this poem
to forget all my pains and nightmares and finally to let you go..
